The Stage Is Set

The stage is set, the actors are ready, and the Hardin County Playhouse is buzzing with excitement as rehearsals for Almost, Maine are underway. Directed by first time HCP director Jared Eaton, this production promises to whisk audiences away on a heartwarming journey through the complexities of love and human connection.

Almost, Maine weaves together a series of enchanting vignettes, each brimming with love, laughter, and unexpected twists. Set in a quaint northern Maine town, the play combines magical realism with genuine emotion, delivering an unforgettable theatrical experience that resonates long after the final curtain call.

Director Jared Eaton, known for his numerous performances on the Hardin County Schools Performing Arts Center stage, expressed his enthusiasm for the production and the remarkable cast. "This cast and crew are a director's dream," Eaton remarked. "Their talent and dedication shine through in every rehearsal."

A New Venture

Adding a modern touch to their promotional efforts, HCP has partnered with TFP Productions to create a captivating trailer for Almost, Maine. Local director Andrew Johnson lead the filming, offering audiences a sneak peek into the magic awaiting them at the theater. Johnson expressed his excitement for the collaboration, highlighting HCP's commitment to making the arts accessible to all.

When asked about his anticipation for the production, director Eaton couldn't contain his excitement. "I am honored to work alongside this all-star team," he shared. "Their passion for storytelling is infectious, and I can't wait for audiences to experience their work."

See a Performance

Almost, Maine will grace the ECTC Science Auditorium stage from March 21st to 24th and March 28th to 30th. Evening performances begin at 7 pm, with a special Sunday matinee on March 24th at 3 pm.
