Take center stage at the Hardin County Playhouse and audition for our upcoming productions. Whether you're a seasoned Shakespearean performer or you do most of your singing and dancing in the shower, there's a role for you in our vibrant theatrical community.
Character Breakdown
Max Bialystock
The consummate con man. Naturally animated and bombastic, he is never at a loss for charm and manners. Typically conspires with Leo. Must be 18+ to audition for this character.
Age: 35 to 55
Leo Bloom
An accountant. Boring and mousy, he is a hesitant optimist who longs for something more. Dragged into a scheme by Max. Should be younger (or younger looking than) Max. Must be 18+ to audition for this character.
Age: 25 to 45
Franz Liebkind
German loyalist playwright. From his lederhosen to his pigeon, Adolph, his love for the motherland is unmistakable. He is imposing yet tender. Should be over 18+, but not restricted.
Age: 35 to 55
Rogers Debris
New York's most famous and flamboyant stage director. Surrounds himself with deliciously beautiful clothing, people, and possessions. In a crowd, it would be impossible to miss him. Should be over 18+, but not restricted.

Age: 50 to 60
Carmen Ghia
Roger Debris' faithful assistant. Carmen is severe in looks and passion for Roger. He may appear younger than he actually is thanks to skilled surgeons. Should be over 18+, but not restricted.

Ulla Inga Hansen Benson Yonsen Tallen-hallen Svaden-svanson
A young and hopeful actress. Though her beauty might eclipse her talent, Ulla is passionate about life and art. Quite a clueless seductress in some ways. Must be 18+ to audition for this character.

Upcoming Auditions
The Producers Auditions!
November 4th and 5th starting at 6 pm at ECTC | Performances February 14th-16th, February 20th-23th at ECTC
Auditions will take place at the Science Auditorium at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College in the Science Building starting at 6 pm. Auditionees will be asked to read from the show, sing a small section of music from the show, and to participate in a small choreography audition. No other audition material is required. You may show up to one, but not both nights of auditions. Anyone showing up to both nights will be sent home. Callbacks will be held only as needed.

Sides are provided through the button below the "Audition Form," button. It is not necessary to have the side you plan on using for audition memorized, but it may be beneficial to be familiar with the material before coming into audition.
Due to content and subject matter contained in this show you must be 18 or older to audition for any of the leads. No one under the age of 18 will be considered for the leading roles.
